What went wrong?

This project was an exploration of a future in 1.000 Years.
I chose a radioactive absorbing, heavy metal eating fungus that has adapted over the time

The fungus grows near abandoned industrial ruins and nuclear power plants. Due to climate change and centuries of environmental pollution, many regions of the Earth are highly contaminated. Extreme radiation and toxic soils have forced the fungus to adapt to convert these pollutants into energy.

The fungus is called "Nucleolux Spora"
